Imagine Marketing and Consulting Maria Gomez-Laurens founder and creator of IMAGINE Marketing and Consulting, - has over 17 years of experience in event planning. Her love for event planning came at a very early age, while as a little girl and the daughter of a Diplomat, she develop exquisite taste for decor, food and ambiance. Attending events and planning event with her father, were the beginning of her true passion. Her creativity took her to choose Advertising, Marketing and Design as a college degree; but just a year after graduation she changed her career to what had been her passion, even planning.

While working in the Hospitality Industry allowed Maria to expand her knowledge in the various traditions and customs, by working with clients from all over the world. She fell in love with what she calls the spice of every wedding "Tradition"; she believes that every wedding in unique; "every wedding brings a gift from past generations, therefore is very special". Through her years of employment and as the Director of Catering at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, Maria began working with corporate clientele and social clients, and soon she developed a vast list of repeat customers that would request her creative input for their special events. 

Stepping away from the corporate confines allowed the dream of Imagine Marketing and Consulting to become a reality; Maria could finally just focus on working her clients in all creative aspects of their special events. Her mission statement is: Imagine together and create the exquisite, bringing and making your own traditions, long term memories and dreams that come true.
